Day 1: Pick up at 9 AM from Chennai - Drive to Pondicherry & Pondicherry Sightseeing
Our representative will welcome you at Chennai Railway Station or airport. Drive to Tirupati. Tirupati is home to the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. This temple is located atop one of the 7 peaks of Tirumala Hills in Andhra Pradesh. On arrival at Tirupati, you will check in to the hotel. Then you will proceed to the Tirumala Hills. People also call it the home of Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji. The Tirumala hills have seven peaks. They are: Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabadri, Narayanadri, Venkatadri. The temple of Lord Venkateshwara is on Venkatadri. When you arrive at Tirumala, you will first visit Varahaswamy Temple. Then you will go to see Lord Venkateshwara, also known as Balaji. After seeing Lord Venkateshwara, you will return to your hotel in Tirupati. You will stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Tirupati - Pondicherry (Puducherry)
The morning after breakfast we checked out of the hotel. Headed towards Puducherry, also known as Pondicherry. It is a popular spot for tourists from all over the world. There are temples, churches, monuments, parks, and mosques that attract tourists. When we arrived at Puducherry, we visited the Panchavati Kshetram. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Panchamukha Sri Anjaneyaswamy. Then we went to Auroville Matrimandir to see the view. It is a place where people go for time to think. You can see the Matrimandir from a viewing point. It is south of the Park of Unity. Has a lovely garden. From there we drove to our hotel. Checked in. The rest of the day was free for us to do whatever we wanted. We could try food, explore the area, visit the market, or just relax. We went back to the hotel. Stayed overnight.
Day 3: Pondicherry Sightseeing
The morning after breakfast we will go for a tour of Puducherry. First we will visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. It is a famous ashram in India. People from all over India and the world come here for spiritual growth. The ashram is wealthy and well-known. Next we will visit the Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple. This temple is very old. Is in Puducherry. It is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Then we will go to the Puducherry Museum. It has a lot of art and history. The museum has 81 old bronze statues from the Chola period. Note that the museum is closed on Mondays and national holidays. After that we will visit Bharathi Park. It is a park with flowers, a play area, and fountains. The park has a Greco-Roman arch. Next we will go to Promenade Beach, called Pondicherry Beach. It starts from the War Memorial. Ends at Dupleix Park on Goubert Avenue. We will then visit the Sacred Heart Basilica. It is a beautiful building, with a Gothic style. Then we will go to the Botanical Garden. The French built it on 22 acres. It has themed areas, an aquarium, and train rides. After that we will drive to Chunnambar Boat House. It is a popular tourist spot. You can take a houseboat ride here. Finally, we will return to the hotel. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Pondicherry (Puducherry) - Chennai (Drop)
In the morning after you have your breakfast, you need to check out of the hotel and then drive to Chennai. When you get to Chennai, go to Tirupati.
