You can spend the rest of the day doing whatever you want. You can just. Start exploring the city. We think you should walk around the Zelyony Bazaar, which is also called the Green Bazaar to see what the locals are selling and to try some of their food. You could also go to Abai Square it is a famous place. You can try some Kazakh food or just look at the mountains around the city. It is a way to get to know Almaty. Go back, to your hotel whenever you want and get a nights sleep.

You start your day with a breakfast. Then you go to Panfilov Park. This park is like a garden in the middle of the city. It is really pretty and green. You will see the Zenkov Cathedral here. This building is very special. It is one of the buildings made of wood in the world. The best part is that it was built without using any nails. In the afternoon you will go to Republic Square. This is the place where people gather for big events in Almaty. You should take a look at the Independence Monument. It is very tall. If you time it right you can watch the sunset from here. The city looks amazing when the sun is setting. After a day you will go back, to your hotel and have a nice evening.

Go to Medeu and breathe in the mountain air. Medeu is where you can find the worlds Olympic-sized ice rink. You will feel the air from the mountains before you get on a cable car that takes you to the famous Shymbulak Ski Resort. The Shymbulak Ski Resort is really high up about 2,200 meters above the ground. From here you can see far and it feels like you are in the heavens. You can see mountains with snow on them. Valleys that are white. You can do sports in the mountains. Just relax and enjoy the quiet. The Shymbulak Ski Resort is the place to go when you want to feel better in the high mountains. When the sun starts to set behind the mountains you will go back, to your hotel. Sleep peacefully.

I want to go to Almaty and check out the Green Bazaar. The Green Bazaar is really cool because you can buy all sorts of things like handmade souvenirs and pretty clothes. They also have lots of food like dried fruits and cheeses that people make in Kazakhstan. Then I want to go to the Rakhat Chocolate Factory. The Rakhat Chocolate Factory is a popular place in Kazakhstan. I can smell the chocolate. Learn how they make it. I can even buy some chocolate to eat. After that I will go to Kok-Tobe Hill on a cable car. The view from Kok-Tobe Hill is really nice. I can ride some rides or just sit and watch the city lights come on. When the day is over I will go back, to my hotel and sleep. The Green Bazaar and the Rakhat Chocolate Factory and Kok-Tobe Hill are all fun places to visit in Almaty.

You will have breakfast. Then check out of the hotel. After that the people who are supposed to take you to the airport will be ready to go. They will take you to Almaty International Airport so you can catch your flight. On the way to the airport look out the window. See the big Trans-Ili Alatau mountains one more time. These mountains were around you when you were in Almaty. Even though your trip, in Almaty is ending now you will remember the city and its exciting markets and old wooden churches and the beautiful mountains for a time. Almaty will stay with you even when you are home.
