Welcome to Almaty, the City of Apples. When you get to Almaty you will get a ride to your hotel where you can check in. After you freshen up you can go out. See the city at your own speed. You can go to the Zelyony Bazaar also called the Green Bazaar to see what the local people are like.. You can walk around the old Abai Square. If you want to see how modern Kazakhstan is you can go to the Presidential Palace and the Palace of the Republic to look at the cool buildings. After a day of looking around you can go back, to your hotel and rest.

Let us go on a tour to see the places in Almaty. We will start at Panfilov Park, which is a special place to remember the people who were heroes in World War II. Then we will go to the Ascension Cathedral, which is a very beautiful wooden building that people from all over the world come to see. The tour will end at Republic Square, where we can look at the Independence Monument, which is a strong symbol of Kazakhstan being its own country. After we learn about the city and see how big and amazing it is we will get a ride back, to our hotel for the night to rest.

Escape the city for a day of fun in the mountains at the Medeu Ice Rink and Shymbulak Ski Resort. First you will go to Medeu. It is the Olympic-sized ice rink in the world. You will then take a cable car to Shymbulak. On the way up you will see views of the Tian Shan mountains covered in snow. After a day in the mountains you will go back, to your hotel to rest. Medeu Ice Rink and Shymbulak Ski Resort are places to enjoy the mountains.

Start your day at the Green Bazaar. This place is really busy. It is a great spot to find local things to buy, like clothes and food that people eat in this area. You can also get some things to remember your trip by. Next go to the Rakhat Chocolate Factory. This is a place where they make chocolate. You can see how they make it and buy some chocolate that is made fresh. In the afternoon go to the middle of the city. Get on the cable car to go to Kok Tobe Park. This park is really fun. You can see the whole city of Almaty from the top. It is the point, in the city so the views are really beautiful. After you are done with all the fun you will get to go to your hotel and rest.

Go on a nice day trip to the beautiful Issyk Lake. It is located in the Issyk Gorge. You can take a walk along the lake and look at the pretty water and big mountains. If you want to learn more about this place you should go to the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve. You will find out about the history of the area and the famous Golden Man. After a day of looking at nature and learning things you will go back, to your hotel and have a nice quiet night.
