Day 1: Arrival in Colombo | Transfer to Nuwara Eliya | Day at Leisure
Welcome to Sri Lanka. When you get to Colombo airport you will go on a pretty drive to Nuwara Eliya. This place is up in the highlands. You will check into your hotel. Then you have the rest of the day to do what you want. You can go out. See Nuwara Eliya. People call it the "Little England" of the East. You might want to see St. Clair’s Falls. It is really pretty. Is like a small version of Niagara Falls in Sri Lanka. St. Clair’s Falls is near the tea plants. If you like adventure you can go to the Ambuluwawa Tower. You have to climb up. You can see really far from the top. You can see the mountains and the mist. After you are done looking you can go back, to your hotel and relax. You can do what you want in the evening. Nuwara Eliya is a nice place to visit. You will like Sri Lanka.
Day 2: Kandy Sightseeing Tour
Today you go on a cool trip to Nuwara Eliya. You will see a lot of places and natural wonders. Your trip starts at the Hanuman Temple. This temple is on a hill. It is very peaceful. You can feel calm. Learn about the spiritual importance of this place. Then you go to the Ramboda Falls. These waterfalls are amazing. The water falls down fast and it looks beautiful with all the green plants around it. In the afternoon you do two things. First you visit the Seetha Amman Kovil. This is an old place that is connected to the Ramayana. Then you walk around the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. These gardens have a lot of flowers and plants. You also go to the Gregory Lake. This lake is very quiet. You can take a boat ride if you want. Then you walk around Victoria Park. This park is pretty and well taken care of. After seeing all these things you go back, to your hotel to rest.
Day 3: Transfer to Kandy | Half Day Kandy Sightseeing Tour
After you check out take a drive to Kandy, a historic hill town. When you get there go to your hotel. Relax for a bit. Then go on a tour to see some culture and nature. First visit the Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue. From there you can see the Kandy valley. Next go to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. They have kinds of plants including rare flowers and big trees. In the afternoon visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. It is a special place that has the tooth of Lord Buddha. At the end of the day go back, to your hotel. Have a quiet evening.
Day 4: Transfer to Colombo | Colombo Sightseeing Tour
After you are done checking out you will have a hassle- transfer to Colombo, the lively coastal capital. When you arrive go to your hotel. Take some time to unwind before heading out to explore the city. Colombo has a mix of colonial style and modern feel. Your sightseeing tour starts at the Lotus Tower. You can go up to the observation deck. See the whole Colombo city and the Indian Ocean from 360 degrees. Then visit the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple it has an unique architecture and is very important to the citys culture. You can also feel the citys vibe at the Pettah Floating Market it is a lively walkway where you can enjoy the city atmosphere. After visiting these and places you will be taken back, to your hotel for a good nights sleep.
Day 5: Departure Day
In the morning, check-out from your hotel and get driven to the Colombo Airport. Once there, board your flight back home, this marks the end of your amazing Sri Lanka trip!
